Construction manager at the Harris County Engineering Department, I graduated from the University of Technology Iraq in 2005 with a B.Sc. in civil engineering. Since moving to the USA in 2017, I began my career at TXDOT, transitioned to the City of Houston, and am currently employed with the Harris County Engineering Department.
I bring over 18 years of hands-on experience as a civil engineer, specializing in on-site construction, project management, and project coordination for a diverse range of vertical and horizontal construction projects, including buildings, roads, and bridges. My expertise lies in leading teams to successful project completion, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines.
I am also dedicated to mentoring new graduates and fostering the development of engineers in my field, contributing to the growth of future professionals. Additionally, I provide training for inspectors to establish a strong foundation in construction fundamentals."
