Amy Windom is the retired president of Younkins-Windom, LLC. During her career she was your source for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) planning, environmental permitting, and roadway/drainage design solutions, particularly for transportation and utility projects. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University (BS Civil Engineering) and the University of Florida (ME Civil Engineering), she is a professional engineer in Florida with more than thirty years of consulting experience.
Her portfolio includes key transportation clients such as: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Districts One and Five; SunRail; Floridas Turnpike Enterprise; Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX); and South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA). In addition, her past projects served utility clients such as Duke Energy, the City of Cocoa, and Orlando Utilities Commission.
She was the majority owner of Younkins-Windom and included Younkins as part of the name to honor her parents Cliff and Grace Younkins for supporting her engineering education. Younkins-Windom was a licensed Florida engineering business, which she closed to enjoy travel in her retirement.
