Today, the White House held a conversation with critical leaders on the importance of expanding support and childcare services to better support workers and their families. Participants shared critical insight on improving care policy and access.

- "Every business person I talk to is concerned that they're not going to be able to fill open jobs unless we get more women into the labor force. That's not going to happen unless we have affordable, accessible, ubiquitous childcare. This is pure economics." — U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo
- "As states and other entities grapple with delivering work around the monumental Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, remember that it’s not about just building projects, in this, we are investing in workers and building the nation. As we transform transportation, we’re transforming lives." — FHWA Administrator Shailen Bhatt
- "Global companies have access to universal childcare programs where they are doing business. We need to remember that it is unique to the U.S. how little support we provide." — White House Domestic Policy Advisor Neera Tanden
